The Host

St Helens Council for Voluntary Service (CVS) has been appointed as the host organisation for St Helens LINk.

It provides advice, information and support services to voluntary, community and faith organisations and volunteers in St Helens.

The CVS provides practical support including:

• Help, advice and support to new and developing organisations
• Funding sources and funding opportunities
• Training courses
• A database of volunteers and volunteering opportunities.

It also helps to

• Identify local need
• Maintain links with voluntary and community organisations
• Present the views of voluntary and community groups to the statutory sector
• Contribute to neighbourhood regeneration by working strategically.
