St Helens LINk is looking for people with an interest in health and social care issues to stand at its forthcoming elections.

Members of LINk's Management Board are responsible for providing direction and leadership to LINk, developing its work plan and overseeing the finances and governance of LINK. Nominees do not need to have previous experience of being on a management committee as induction training will be given, and the time commitment is six hours a month.

The elections will be held at the United Reformed Church, Ormskirk Street, St Helens between 11am - 1pm on Saturday 5 June 2010. Everyone is welcome to attend and vote at the elections and there will be an opportunity to ask questions of the current LINk Management Board. A light lunch will be available at 1pm.

Nominations for the LINk Board need to be received by 9am on Wed 2 June and each nominee needs to give 2 references. Nomination forms can be downloaded from the resources section.
